A fantastic location on and near the water with impeccable service, beautiful dining, bar, pool and beach areas. The amenities all first rate except for the golf course. Not changing the hole locations for at least a week was dramatic in wear and tear around the hole as there were virtually no round holes! How does one gauge an oblong shaped hole for putting? And an abundant number of the flagsticks were on the front of the greens with a blustery following wind making it impossible to end close to the hole without a preponderance of luck. The crew member assigned this task was either not trained properly, didn't care or thought it funny to take away the fun in enjoying a good result from a well struck shot. I will add that Eason and Natalia in the golf shop were professional and nice as they realized this form of neglectful course setup would create unhappy customers and bad reviews ultimately hurting future business for the golf and the beautiful Rosewood Resort.

If I had posted this review right after I left it would be much higher however, that was before the Rosewood fraudulently charged my credit card $2,000 five days after we checked out without explanation. It required 10 phone calls to a host of people different times to get it resolved. It wasn't as though it was an accidental double charge, it was a different fee than our checkout by hundreds of dollars. Keep an eye on your statement after you leave. Overall the experience was as close to a 5 of staying at the hotel it was truly relaxing but the charge and the responsiveness to it was very jarring and disappointing. ROSEWOOD BERMUDA PRO'S Stunning and expansive ocean view room, newly renovated and very tastefully done. Gorgeous views from your private balcony and quick room service. Quiet and well appointed - in room fridge, plenty of storage, bar-ware, complimentary: robes, water, nespresso, flip flops, etc. Friendly people and wonderful culture. The shuttle is super easy and Roger is hilarious and kind. Henry, Trish, Georgana, Anna were also amazing staff that served us wonderfully. They have a recently converted bar called the conservatory which was previously a library and it is stunning absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful and clean resort which extends to the whole island clearly there is a sense of ownership and pride that permeates the Bermuda culture. Easy beach club shuttle with frequent trips 2x per hour. Beach club includes, bar, restaurant, infinity pool, separate kid's pool, and beautiful white sand beach. The beach club has a stairway behind it that leads to a private (otherwise gated and guarded) residential road that many billionaires own property on, the homes are gorgeous and the walk and views breathtaking. Additionally the walk provides access to some gorgeous secret beaches -this was my favorite part of the trip! I love that this resort had a kid's pool and an adult pool. Best massage of my life at the their Sense spa - worth every penny. ROSEWOOD BERMUDA CON'S Internet access was really terrible and slow - not expected for a 5 star hotel. We didn't bring our kids on this trip (yee haw!) but wanted to be able to check in and couldn't facetime b/c the connection was so bad. Because the room had a large fridge I wish we'd stopped at market and stocked up on some stuff so we could make a drink or have a snack in our room, there is nothing like a market close without at least a $20 cab ride. The hotel is as expected very expensive, for reference a Cesar salad will cost you about $23 (with gratuity) a glass of rose $20. So know before you go and plan accordingly. This isn't unique to the Rosewood by any means. For a newly renovated room seems to be lacking some common sense modern amenities like ample outlets and charging stations. The service! Yikes, the people were overall really lovely and kind (Roger I'm looking at you!) however, the poolside service was incredibly slow, I often had to go find someone to order food or a drink, this happened every single day we were there and we tried three different pools all the same, just no sense of urgency despite not being overly crowded. This carried over into dining as well. This was a surprise to me. We also sought out concierge help on a few things, trying to get a ferry to the other end of town and Jennifer gave us incorrect information that caused us to have pay $75 for a cab b/c the ferry time was incorrect. Additionally, when we needed help streaming a show on the big screen in our room she was completely unhelpful said she'd never been asked that question and that we would have to wait a day for IT support (which never came). The location means that to explore the island you will need to pay for taxis. This means pretty much $50 to get to a lot of the good restaurants. We didn't mind staying on site so this wasn't a huge deal but when we did go out it was pricey. Portuguese Man of War is a real issue, there were several washed up on the beaches associated with the hotel - be careful their sting is legit.
